cinema 21 yesterday afternoon
frantically gobbling popcorn until
things got really graphic



and tense

then, quiet

then back to munching


i've read some negative reviews
and but just having finished the novel
yesterday morning
i wasn't disappointed
as much as the reviews said i should be

yes, they had to make changes
but those weren't bothersome to me

i thought Noomi Rapace was a highlight (of course)
even tho she's referred to as light fare a la Pippi Longstocking

pfft

i am glad i read the book first, though, as i'm not sure
i would have found the film version quite as engaging
