I gave my notice last week at the new job. This is my last week there. I'm going back to the dump truck job. There are several reasons, but it's all about money and health insurance costs and anyway whatever.
My band plays on the 23rd of this month. Saturday, at 12:30pm. Eight songs, 30 minute set. This is the third year we will have played at this event but it's the first time we've played on a Saturday; usually it's a Sunday. This is a better day for a larger crowd to see us.
The heat has returned. I am thankful for the small window a/c unit given to me by a nice young man at work. I don't ask too much of it, just a slight cooling on the hottest days. But really, 97 today? It will pass by tomorrow.
Mu Ch'i is doing very well. The Cosequin I've been giving her the past couple of months seems to have helped her significantly. Thank you. Thank you. She is my sweetheart.
And now a shower.
Oh yes...a dream where I got two seriously small hatchlings. One was a baby chick still wanting the eggshell, the other a baby bird so delicate. I was so afraid they would not survive. I don't know anything.
