I did it!



Garlic soup (many many cloves; like 50 or so)





Frozen




With sun and much wind







And last night...







god, I hate the wind.

I chipped out at least half of the bird bath yesterday and refilled it with fresh water so the crows and squirrels and other birds could get a drink. It lasted a short while before being refrozen but it was just so cold and windy and even being bundled up...it was all I could manage. I'll repeat a little later this morning.

They're saying probability of at least some snow at my elevation, more in the hills.

Is it spring, yet? I just don't do winter well. And my furnace runs about 20 minutes, shuts off for five, then back on. And I'm only keeping it 64 degrees in the house. I dread next month's bill.


Didn't work at all last week, and only nine hours the week before. Got holiday pay for the two Fridays tho.



Just finished tea in bed with mooch napping on me, my iPad propped on her back.
The wind continues to howl but it's supposed to stop this morning. Hey wind, IT'S MORNING!

Time to disturb my love and get coffee and morning news in the living room.
