trying not to drive roomie crazy with my practicing of Santeria.
not to mention, myself.
ditto for Under the Bridge.
fucking frusciante. gah.
i can play it but it's rough. really rough.
today's obsession, among little riffs i've come up with?
That's Entertainment, by The Jam.
pretty easy, chord-wise.
but consistency of rhythm and the strum. ah, the rub.
i sorta got invited to jam with some people. they, among other things, cover classic punk songs.
i saw them play a few weeks ago. really fun, energetic stuff, tho i really don't know that many punk songs. i mean, just radio stuff, not deep cuts of fan-dom. like that.
anyway, i kinda left it as maybe one of these days.
they're not kids, they're in their late 30's, early 40's probably. maybe.
i need to smooth everything out before i do that. i always get stuff half-ass and then move on to another song.
