now, when i was there, the practical wisdom/joke was that it really didn't stop raining until july 4th. or rather, just after (gotta rain on the holiday).
in 2008, i recall it getting to 105F one week in june, but that was supposed to be an anomaly :)
still, even tho it almost never feels like full-on summer until july, usually there is the several pleasant days in a row of sun before the rain returns. we've had precious few hours, let alone days, this spring.
people's gardens are having to be partially replanted because of so much rain and lack of sun. some small farmers are in jeopardy of going under because they still can't plant certain crops.
