i have a free workshop pretty soon; 12:30 - 4:30
brush up on ms word, spreadsheets stuff

i don't believe i've ever used ms word, but i know how to create a word document and save it.
that's about all i know about word processing programs.
i know nothing about spreadsheets. almost nothing.

this is though Worksource Oregon and as i said, free.

i have half a notion that it will be very frustrating and i'll come away
knowing nothing really useful to help in my job search.

but, one never knows.


meanwhile, out here on the ice floe...

I used to teach classes like that back in PA. I hope you came away with some good info, and feeling more comfortable with the programs.

gots info, just basic stuff that went well enough, only a three hour class, not four.

also introduced to powerpoint! needs open lab to practice everything for the realz. =)

Ah, powerpoint and word were the two that I taught...and sometimes a little excel. If I can be of any help, give me a holler.
