i just exchanged emails with Beth McDonald :D

was listening streaming online and they were talking about Leno's show being dismal in the ratings and that Conan got the word he has to give up the Tonight Show, move to midnite-one o'clock and Leno gets the 11:30 slot back but just for a 30 minute show.
either that or Conan has to leave, period. i sent her an email giving my opinion.

personally, i think Conan's show is funnier than Leno ever was, and funnier than Letterman.
i always laugh when i watch Conan; i only chuckle a little watching Letterman these days.
not that i watch either or any much; only when my whacked sleep allows a brief late night interlude.


ANYWAY...

I agree with you about Conan. His show has always been funnier than Jay or Letterman. David Letterman has turned into I don't know what, but I don't like him at all anymore.

Admittedly I miss the Johnny Carson days. Though I was only a kid when I watched him, he was quite the lovable host.

Carson didn't do the show for 30 years accidentally. ;j

i miss the older stars that used to be on his show.
Don Rickles, Robert Blake (before, you know), Buddy Hacket, etc.
those were some fun shows to watch.

i think i was 12 or so when Carson took over from Jack Paar.
