on 2010-01-11 04:16 pm (UTC)wish i could offer any kind of advice, but alas, i didn't even entertain the notion that i'd find something after i decided to leave intel that didn't involve consulting. i know a few people who spent over a year looking for worthwhile work there. oregon is traditionally anti-job.
it's possible that until wages go down across the board jobs won't significantly start moving again. depressing.
