i think it stopped raining for a minute there


maybe




the refrain from a new song has been insistent for a little over a week
but i didn't know what or where to put or do with it
and when i woke this morning
the rest of it was just sitting there
repeating itself
and i turned on the light
and picked up my guitar and
played it and wrote most of the lyrics

it's a pop-y song
of course
tho i guess actually most of the things i write aren't exactly
that

it just sort of stuns me when this happens
and i give thanks
and more
thanks


i can't believe you haven't found someone new

i'll post a lame video of it when i get the rest of it hammered out
