been working a shit ton of hours the past couple of weeks

that's a professional/technical term, btw


one month from today the band has the gig at Centaur Guitar.
we're very excited about it.
we go on at (approx) 12:45 on Sunday, July 15th.

a slight snag is that the bass player and I finally had it out at practice today
and he quit the band. so, either we find someone to fill in/replace him
in the next month, or we go on without a bass player. whatever. it will be as it will be
and there is nothing to be done about how it plays out. we will go on and rock the f**k out of you
who are in attendance. so, a heads up to any local peeps who have an interest in our debut as
this current incarnation of the band.

i'm pretty sure this kind of thing has never happened before in a band situation

so, yeah

i've been reading most of my friends page most daily tho not commenting much
as my energy level is nil and i don't have a lot to say, but i do adore all of you who
keep the lj vigil and keep on keeping on here

i am a burnt monkey brained dump truck driver who loves music
that's who i am

i saw and gave a card to my dad and my step dad today
it was good to give hugs and kisses and see and talk to them in person

ten years ago today...

ah well, nevermind. that was then, this is now. and it is okay, after all.
