we started messing with this song a couple of weeks ago, the boys getting the structure down after a while
(i've been playing it for five years by myself) and so this is about the first time we got through it start to finish.

we played acoustic last practice because it was so flipping' hot and we didn't want to fire up the amps and PA and so it was chill with the little baby a/c window unit and fans blasting to keep us from sweating our asses off. we played all of our songs nice like this and it gives them a completely different feel. easier to work on improving our vocals. we have discovered that any and all of our songs translate to acoustic really sweetly.

i think today marks the 13th day in a row of 90+ degree days. the heat wave continues over 90f until maybe next thursday when it will drop into the high 80s


i'm meeting up with Spin this morning and we're going to the annual Waterfront Blues Festival.
ten dollar suggested donation and two cans of food is the admission cost, going to the Oregon Food Bank.


i should hit the shower right about now
